Preserving safe and stable communities:
Preserving our neighborhoods is critical to the long term well being of Baltimore County and the State. We cannot afford to abandon our older communities. I will work to make sure the older communities are not abandoned but are given the attention they deserve.

- Improving and upgrading road and traffic systems
- Support retail business retention and growth, particularly in older communities
- Protecting and increasing public open space
- Working with Towson University and the Towson neighborhoods to ensure the University remains an asset and students are good neighbors
- Help implement the community supported recommendations of the Towson UDAT (Urban Design Assistance Team)
Keeping Energy Affordable
- Providing the leadership necessary to protect citizens from future massive utility rate increases
- Working to find ways to cushion the rate increase
- Fighting to delay the merger until we are sure it will not cause another price increase
- Examining ways to get the money back from BGE that it was given for its power plants; they have not lost the money that they predicted
